msXfax Enterprise Fax Server Licensing

Installation of license files msXfax enterprise fax server

Customer service send a license file via email with these instructions:

To install your new license please follow these steps:

1. Login with an admin account to the server
2. Open a Windows File Explorer with permissions to perform file copy & replacement operations.    Elevate by running explorer via an Administrator CMD window if necessary.  
3. Run the msXfax console from the desktop
4. Stop all msXfax services using the Fax Services panel shown below.
5. Retain a copy of your existing BNS-msXfax.lic file which is located in Program FilesBNS GroupmsXfax EnterpriseProgramsClientLicense (Copy the existing file somewhere else until the new license file has been implemented and confirmed as working).
6. Copy the attached new license file to Program FilesBNS GroupmsXfax EnterpriseProgramsClientLicense replace the existing file.
7. Close the msXfax console
8. Start the msXfax console, check the new license expiry date(see attached screen)
9. Start all services using the Fax Services panel shown below.
10. Take a copy of your license file and store it in a location which is not on the VM itself. Ie: a document management, configuration recovery store etc.
